CONCEPT

"Ambivalence = Mutually exclusive dichotomy". It is an originally conflict "Emotions" which appears at the same time to some kind of an event, like "I am glad and also it is sad".

In my opinion, these kind of sense will only appears when we take plural point of view with　objectivity to the event. However, "Emotions" itself which comes after that kind of sense is certainly subjectivity. Two or more subjective feelings coexist at the same time in the mind, and those aren’t false either. It can be said strongly that it is an example that shows the mystery of our mind.

<The Mirror> is a mirror that projects appreciation’s mind. Sometimes our mind will behave incomprehensively, and also not easy to treat anytime. Sometimes we feel irritated to the imperfectness, or sometimes bewailed. This somber mirror is imperfect to show our body, but the figure will still shows another phase of truth (because it “exists”). The mirror originates a quiet sonar sound for those who appreciate. I want you to find the source of imperfect of your mind from the mirror, led by the sonar sound.

When we use the mirror, we check and confirm for "Something". Also the sonar sound takes place of eyes of submarine, and it works for checking and confirming "Something". These motifs are quite different, but has similar purpose. By coexisting these motifs in the artwork, the concept is related to their purposes “check and confirm” the imperfectness of our mind.
